Phase One: Submit Your Photo!
Visitors to The Animal Rescue Site who are eighteen years old or older can enter a photo and poem in the Puppy Love, Kitty Kisses Contest. Photos and poems can be submitted beginning on January 17th, 2012 at 12:01 a.m. (PT), and will be accepted until January 29th, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. (PT).
By submitting your photo, you certify that you own the copyright to the picture and poem and that you agree to grant The Animal Rescue Site nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable right and license to copy, reproduce, publish in any media, distribute, and display all submitted photos, images, and text. The Animal Rescue Site reserves the right to alter pictures and edit text, and to remove any submissions at any time. We reserve the right to take down any photo that we deem inappropriate.

Phase Two: Judging the Finalists
Ten finalists will be chosen by the staff of The Animal Rescue Site and announced on January 31st, 2012. To be eligible, photos must be original work submitted during the appropriate time period.

Phase Three: Vote!
Voting for the winners begins January 31st, 2012 at 12:01 a.m. (PT) and ends February 5th, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. (PT). Winners will be determined by the highest number of votes, and announced on February 7th, 2012. The Animal Rescue Site reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any votes that appear to be (a) created by an automated system; or (b) fraudulent in any way.
